From the women's own experiences and views to know their own labor experiences and the processes of seeking medical information. During the labor, they were cared at the hospital and the doula accompanied. It also reflected the true feelings of pregnant women in the health care system nowadays. There were ten cases. Using the interview guide, the oral history method was used. Every participant was respectively interviewed two to three times and each interview took approximately two to three hours. The interview was then transcribed and analyzed afterward. The results showed that: (1) the information demanding during pregnancy; (2) to ensure a healthy fetal behavior; (3) women's expectations of a natural gentle birth; (4) being listening and suggestions, trusting the doula; (5) the effectiveness of using the birth plan; (6) the unique of childbirth education; (7) having a substantive approach reducing labor pain; (8) continuous accompanying with the providing information increasing the power for coping with labor; (9) the effects of expectant fathers accompanying partners’ labor and birth; (10) the reflects of labor women’s obstetrics routine in the hospital. The results of this study can not only provide prenatal care as a reference curriculum but also provide the local material of obstetric care teaching and research.
