Summary:碩士 === 國立台北護理學院 === 生死教育與輔導研究所 === 97 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the attitudes toward death,spiritual self-aware, and the analysis of relevant factors of clinical care behavior on the dying patients of the nursing staffs. The objects of this study were the forefront clinical nursing staff of one medical center. It included 284 valid questionnaires then analyzed with statistical software package (SPSS, version 13.0). The result of study included: 1) There was no significant difference of parameters with the attitudes toward death, besides the religious belief of study objects. 2) The conscientious physical and psychological health status, religious belief, working duration and participation of life and death study of research objects statistically significantly correlated with intelligence of spiritual self-aware. However, other factors had no significant difference in the intelligence of spiritual self-aware. 3) Age, education degree, working duration and service seniority of death care were significant correlated with clinical care behavior on the dying patients. 4) There was significant correlation between the attitudes toward death with intelligence of spiritual self-aware.5) The attitudes toward death was significantly correlated with the clinical care behavior on the dying patients . Based on the above results, this research recommends 1) The schools and medical organizations have to hold more lectures and activity about the attitudes toward death and self- aware. That enables the nursing staff to positively face the death issue and provide the education of clinical care on the point of dying. 2) Leading the nursing staffs to think about the predicament of care on the point of dying in patient's course, and assisting the nursing staffs to deal with their negative mood in the course of attending, further to enable nursing staffs to deal them energetically. 3) Offering nursing staffs psychological support resources, establishing supportable group or personal psychological consultation and auxiliary systems. Assisting the nursing staffs to explore the intelligence of spiritual self-aware and strengthen one's own ability of self-looking after.
