In terms of production value and number of manufacturers, the biotech food industry takes a large proportion of agricultural biotech industry. For this industry, how to increase product sales performance and enhance brand awareness is an important issue. This paper was designed to explore the business model integrated with experience economy using an agricultural biotech company, LiChuan Co. Ltd., as an example. Results showed that the case company is a biotech company developed from a traditional industry and has integrated experience economy into their business model. In their product design process, experience resources are incorporated to design customized products, services, and experience activities favored by visitors. In addition, they have also been proactively engaged in developing close interactive relationships with partners, so as to form a reciprocal cooperative model. They utilize the concept of experience economy to seek higher profits and increase popularity through strategic experience modules and experience media. Through this case study, it could be discovered that experience resources are conditions required for application of experience economy to business model. The above conclusion was expected to be a reference for industries planning to adopt similar business models.
