Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 機械工程系所 === 97 === This study of inverter frequency adjustment, observes ‘guide vane angles’ modifications, and affinity law equation to find the frequency adjustments for the most efficient power consumption. The experimental components combine the centrifugal pump with different ‘guide vane angles’ (10°, 20°, 30°) and an inverter. The adjustment of electric frequencies (35hz, 40hz, 45hz, 50hz, 60hz) resulted in various rotary speeds ensuing differences in: flow rate, power consumption, and pump efficiency levels. The findings compared which ‘guide vane angle’ diffuser is most effective with different frequency operation points. Pump efficiencies were compared and found that running at low frequency was inferior to pump operations running at high frequency. The experiment further compared the frequency operation of the pump in accordance with the affinity law equation where the power consumption is equal to rpm cubed and sensitive to ‘vane angle’ modifications which found to save energy at low frequency revolution and therefore, not finding a strong relation between low frequency revolution and ‘guide vane angle’ change. The experimental pump ‘guide vane angle’ change was helpful in finding good operation at wide range and efficient energy saving applications for optimum equipment use.
