碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 高階經營管理碩士在職專班(EMBA) === 97 === Since the problem of drug-abuse has been the most secret worry in present society, and the recidivism of drug-abuse after abstention and remedy has been higher than usual, it is more and more important to explore drug-abuse and reasons of recidivism. This study would mainly research those dope addicts who are abstained and cured at treatment center or penitentiary in Southern Taiwan district, the author would take 402 samples to engage in describing the quality and quantity crosswise and simultaneously with in-depth interview and questionnaires, so as to collect data of their personal traits, social and family factors to approach and analyze the reasons of their recidivism. The research results found there were significant difference between recidivism and variables such as the gender, vocation and attitude to job after doping, reason of getting into internment, resource and location of first-time and sequent dopes, the type of drug among those abstainers; and factor of chance had relevance and difference to recidivism, while the influence of family support was crucial for abstention. So, based on the research the author provided suggestions as follows: 1. The department of medicine should add relevant subject independently which focuses on the study of drug-abuse. 2. After the dope addicts finished their porridges or observation & abstention, there should be a period of tutelage and regulation for more than one year to them. 3. As to the chain dope addicts who come and go to treatment penitentiary many times without kicking the habit, the abstention and remedy should be focused on the reinforced remedy of alternative therapy. 4. It is necessary to intensify the education and function of families among those abstainers.
