Related researches on knowledge creation, administrative innovation, and technical innovation among different industries are rare. This comparative empirical research explores the relationship of knowledge creation and administrative innovation, technical innovation between the biotechnology and the opto-electronic industries in Taiwan is valuable. The research results are as follows: (1) The cognition of knowledge creation, administrative innovation, and technical innovation of the biotechnology industry are higher than those of the opto-electronic industry. (2) Knowledge creation significantly affects administrative innovation and technical innovation in the biotechnology industry. (3) Knowledge creation significantly affects administrative innovation and technical innovation in the opto-electronic industry. (4) The construct combination of knowledge creation in the biotechnology industry affects administrative innovation and technical innovation, but the combination has no effect on administrative innovation and technical innovation in the opto-electronic industry. (5) Knowledge creation has significantly positive correlations with administrative innovation and technical innovation in the biotechnology industry. The opto-electronic industry has the same result. (6) In demographical variables, Knowledge creation, administrative innovation, and technical innovation are significantly different among age groups in the biotechnology industry; however, administrative innovation, and technical innovation are significantly different among education levels in the opto-electronic industry. (7) In corporate variables, Knowledge creation, administrative innovation, and technical innovation are significantly different among position levels in the opto-electronic industry.
