By properly control of the software and hardware of the AS/RS, materials and products can be efficiently transported and deposited. In this research, the capacity of the warehouse using the AS/R system with single-shuttle and twin-shuttle is discussed. By adjusting I/O (Input/Output) station positions, dwell point, the frequency of storing and retrieving, and size of the storage rack, the results can provide a feasible situation for decision maker. The twin-shuttle AS/RS is simulated by the simulation software, namely AutoMod, in this research. In order to conform as possible to the real operating situation of the storage/retrieval (S/R) machine, factors including the velocity, acceleration and deceleration of the Storage/Retrieval machine are considered in this research. The performance is the S/R machine capacity in this research. The capacity is the amount that input plus output. The simulation results of the twin-shuttle capacity can be greater than single-shuttle if the frequency is frequent. There are three different storage rack in this research. The capacity of the S/R machine have more better performance when the I/O point set up same direction and the dwell point set up the input station for every storage rack.
