The apartment building becomes main housing construction in the city. The apartment building lives many inhabitants in each level in a building but the decoration material and many goods are flammable and placed inside of the building. When the fire occurred, the fire carried big load causes the fire intensity grows like a weed and the expanded combustion, often became a great fire. This research simulates the fire happen in an apartment with fire simulation model that intend to understood the fire's growth and spreading, the flowing and proliferation of smoke stream, and the change of temperature and carbon monoxide. In addition, the influence of fire prevention safety equipment establishment to the escapes to the fire the personnel was compared. These results were expected can promote the populace to take seriously to fire prevention safely and the references of relative authorities for fire prevention and the rescue countermeasure. The results demonstrated with under the fire safety equipment protection, the fire intensity can control, the combustion is slow, the fire intensity is limited, and the fire spreads without expansion. The temperature, oxygen concentration, and carbon monoxide concentration harms to personnel in house will largely decrease. Therefore, the personnel living in the apartment will be relatively safe.
