Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 社會發展學系 === 97 === This research is to understand that how the Ching shuei elementary school preserve school monument, and how to spread the school monument. Japanese-Occupied Period, the Japanese colonial government established central schools that are long-standing. However, they are difficult to be preserved. First, that’s because the ground of schools is insufficient, they must be demolished to establish new buildings. Second, the budget of elementary school is not enough, that they can’t preserve monuments of school. The monument of Ching shuei elementary school is preserved completely in Taiwan up to today. It has been assigned to be the monument of Taichung county since 2004. After twice rehabilitations of the old school buildings, the school bends it’s efforts to preserve the school monument. The purpose is that the principal and teachers in order to make the students including residents and travelers recognize the school monument. They expect them to cherish the monument.
The study adopts participant observation and in-depth interview of
qualitative research to collect information. After that, the study uses solid
theories to analyze the information and establish the theories. It is found as follow:
1.The organization culture of school influences school monument preservation.
2.The identification of organization is help to school monument preservation.
3.The tactics of spreading school monument, just like establishing comment and guide team is help for the teachers and students to concern school monument.
The study proposes three suggestions. It is suggested that the school can decorate a cultural space, develop school-based curriculum of school monument, and the team must be sustainable operated.
