Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore elementary school peer relationship, achievement motivation and academic achievement of the relevant circumstances, by the variables of different backgrounds to explore their peer relationship, achievement motivation and academic achievement of the differences. In this study, public elementary schools in Tainan County for the scope of the study, to take stratified purposive sampling method, the subjects of this study are 1364 fourth, sixth-grade students. These subjects based on peer relationship and achievement motivation in the questionnaire to be analyzed to answer the questionnaire.
The study employed the methods of descriptives, Independent-Samples T Test, one-way ANOVA, product-moment and canonical correlations, two-way ANOVA and multiple regress analysis to perform the verification of different suppositions.The results of the investigation reveals the following findings:
1.The students at this stage tend to peer relationships of friendship level and achievement motivation tend to work orientation.
2.There are significant gender, grade, and tutor gender differences in peer ralationship and achievement motivation on elementary school students.
3.There is significant gender difference in academic achievement on elementary school students.
4.There are significant peer relationship and achievement motivation differences in academic achievement on elementary school students.
5.There are significant correlations in the peer relationship, achievement motivation, and academic achievements on elementary school students.
6.There are significant interaction between the number of different classes and achievement motivation in academic achievement.
7.Elementary school students from different backgrounds, peer relationship, and achievement motivation can significantly be predictors of future academic achievements.
Finally, according to the above findings and conclusions, the study proposes the suggestions for the education administrative institutions and future researches.
