Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 視覺藝術學系 === 97 === In order to help the researcher to get rid of family violence, haze of disease and search the meaning of life, this paper will discuss the definition of western feminism, the formation and development of woman’s liberation movement, the eastern and western art history, the barrier of female creativity, the transformation of art style and the contents of the theme influenced by the disease or accident, the spirit of perseverance applied in the art creation through the pain of disease and the origin of abstract art and the style and features of artists’ art work.This paper clarifies the rules that oppress females in each era of China through religion, politics, life, art factor, etc….After the western feminism had been introduced in Taiwan, the new feminism of Annette Lu warmly emphasized that men and women are both equally good! This has encouraged female artists to express their talents and to fit in the society, politics and male rights’ issues and to discuss topics which were once forbidden; this has brought a lot of attention and feedback. The next discussion is about the researcher suffering from Rheumatoid arthritis which caused inconvenience in her life, work and marriage. This is an artist who becomes ill caused by her research work and later creates art work due to her illness. She never gives up confronting the pain of her body. Similar situation can also be found with Pierre-Auguste Renoir. She also suffered Rheumatoid arthritis and during his late life, the joints of his hands were severely deformed but he never gave up on his passion of art creation; she even tied the paint brushes on his hand to finish every piece of her art work. The researcher’s motive in creating has been also inspired by Frida Kahlo, who lost her ability to give birth in an accident, but her feelings and thinking were into her paintings.This paper uses documentation discussion method, Formalistic, semiology to proceed with research with a variety of creative material and Abstract Art to paint out the bitter and joyful life of the researcher.
