Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 教育行政研究所 === 97 === The purposes of this study are to investigate the situations that the aboriginal high school students learn their aboriginal languages, and to analyze the perception how the aboriginal high school students toward Affirmative Action and Test of Aboriginal Language Skill Certification. In order to achieve the purposes, the researcher uses literature review and questionnaire survey method to collect and analyze the data. The participants in this study are 704 aboriginal students in junior high schools and senior high schools of Pingtung County. Among the 704 students, 345 students are from aboriginal districts and the others, 359 students, are from general districts. The research tool is a self-constructed questionnaire titled “The study on the perception of aboriginal high school students toward Affirmative Action and Aboriginal Language Skill Certification Examination”. The valid sample data are analyzed with the SPSS for windows 12.0, under the procedures of frequency distribution, percentage, and Chi-square test. According to the results of statistical analysis, the conclusions of this study are as follow: 1. The Condition of learning aboriginal languages (1) The main places of learning aboriginal languages are in households, tribes, and schools. (2) The main reason of learning aboriginal languages trends to the responsibility for the racial identity. (3) Aboriginal high students have to acquainted theirselves thoroughly with aboriginal language writing symbol. (4) The aboriginal language skills of listening and reading are better; the skills of speaking and writing are worse. (5) The aboriginal high students trend to constantly speak aboriginal languages to seniors; however, do seldom to contemporaries. 2. The Perception toward Affirmative Action (1) The attitudes of aboriginal high school students toward content of Affirmative Action trend to agreeably or having no opinions. (2) Affirmative Action will bring aboriginal high school students positive and negative influences. (3) The aboriginal high school students who enjoy Affirmative Action are willing to contribute to tribes on vacation. (4) The aboriginal high school students’ attitudes that high schools arrange the guidance activities trend to agreeably or having no opinions. 3. The Perception toward Test of Aboriginal Language Skill Certification (1) The main reason of aboriginal high school students who take Test of Aboriginal Language Skill Certification is for identifying themselves with races, and the main way that aboriginal high school students prepare the Test of Aboriginal Language Skill Certification is talking to family in aboriginal language. (2) Most aboriginal high school students approve of combining Aboriginal Language Skill Certification with Affirmative Action. (3) Most aboriginal high school students approve of high schools’ ways to respond with Aboriginal Language Skill Certification. (4) When testing the aboriginal languages, the items of listening are easier for aboriginal high school students, but the speaking items are more difficult. (5) Test of Aboriginal Language Skill Certification could help aboriginals improve their languages, as well as flourish aboriginal languages. (6) The aboriginal high school students think that the Test of Aboriginal Language Skill Certification will not increase their pressure of attending higher schools.
