碩士 === 國立屏東教育大學 === 體育學系 === 97 === The development and achievement of Volleyball in PingTung county have been a very good impression on people, and the county is even entitled as the home of volleyball. The PRHS Female Volleyball Team that has bred numerous excellent national volleyball players has been a nation-wide famous team, and furthermore, its most fabulous achievement including 8 years in a row to win the champion of the National Ju Guang Volleyball Game and it’s still on the very top of the record. There must be a very hard time behind the team that can still keep its perfect record but the honor is being challenged now. The reason why should a team carrying such a splendid achievement only be a history but couldn’t be continued is what the author is going to confer. The study is mainly based on the historian study method with help of interviewing method by collecting, sorting and analyzing related documents, the purpose is to confer the origin and development of the team and go into the impacts and attributes for Female Volleyball game in Taiwan. The range of the study is from the 46th year of the Republic Era(1957) which is the year the school set up to the 96th year of the Republic Era(2007). After the investigation, the results of the study are as follows: 1. Ping Rong High School was set up in the 45th year of the Republic Era (1957). The promoter CAI JIANG LAI who loved sports tried to set up a volleyball team by the purpose of popularizing sports at the start of the school. It really was a harshest time for the team to build the simple court with stones and dirt. And after then, the first volleyball team in PRHS was established. 2. During 75th~83 th year（1986-1994）the team had set the fabulous record by winning the championship of the National Ju Guang Volleyball Game 8 years in a row and 5 years championship in High School Volleyball Game. It’s still unbreakable now. The school had bred lots of national level players and had been entitled as the cradle of the Volleyball players. Besides, the team had cultivated 3 world wide level players. 3. PRHS Female Volleyball Team was a No.1 team with excellent skilled and practiced tactics when the team got its time. The team not only had been a role model and taken the lead of the direction of the Female Volleyball development but elevated the level of the Female Volleyball. 4. PRHS Female Volleyball Team is now facing the problems which are the short of the players, high-frequency of changing coaches and the lack of the money. The recruiting and training of the team are being critically attacked under the circumstances.
