Summary: | 碩士 === 南開科技大學 === 福祉科技與服務管理所 === 97 === The ageing population in Taiwan area has been increasing. There are lots of unexpected risks of older people staying at home. Falling is the second leading cause of death. For avoiding injuries from falling, sufficient light as well as the floor design are essential for old people walking at night or leaving the bed with unclear mind. Therefore, this research focuses on the intelligent LED tile data transmission which communicates with computer via RS-232 interface. The data transmission communicates with each other via I/O PORT, and it becomes a Model that combined with BASIC STAMP microcontroller and sensor to detect and drive LED. By utilizing this intelligent LED tile, we expect to offer safety environment for aged residents at home.
