The results of the study are shown as follows: (1)19.1 percent of retired teachers has ever engaged in the domestic long stay travel. Also, 75% of them have a desire to do the travel. 7 days travel is more appropriate for them. The favorite sites they want to go are Hualien, Taitung and Nantou in order. The best affordable expenditure of travel is between 7,500 and 10,000 dollars for them to spend. The group of long stay they prefer is 5-8 persons. The most convenient source of the information is internet. (2)The leisure constraints are external natural factors, recreational resources, personal factors and external human factors. The top three leisure constraints are costs, the lack of natural landscape, worrying about the care of family. There is a significant difference between overall leisure constraints and background variables of gender, whether they are retired or not. (3) The decision-making weighting factors are the external environment, a long stay resource. The external environmental includes social security, natural landscape and climate. The long stay resource has tour planning, accommodation and equipment, cost, location, leisure recreational facilities and travel agencies.
