Description
Summary:碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 光電與通訊工程學系 === 97 === The thesis aims to focus on the differences of anchoring between two glasses of LC cell. One is stander strong anchoring, and the other is special weak anchoring. We can control back-flow effect produced in LC cell by using different voltage waveform rapidly and slowly. Through this process, LC director orientation could be switched between 0° and 180°, allowing LC to exist on homogeneous state (U-state;0°) and twist state(T-state;180°) stably. This switching model has bistable property, and we use the property to design a reflective display device. This device needs no light; thus it saves electricity. Furthermore, it can be applied to mobile display devices with small-size and black and white display.
