Thanks to designers’ different perspectives on this issue, they make our world highly changeable and profuse. This research tries to reform the unitary way to play jigsaw puzzles. Besides, the concept of penetrating windows at The Lin Family Mansion and Garden in Taiwan and Chinese traditional festivals, such as Lantern Festival, are combined all together. The goal is to create new jigsaw puzzles with multiple ways to play with, and make it a new way to show Taiwanese culture and history at the same time. According Kenya Hara’s idea of “RE-DESIGN” and “Gong-Gan”, we turn back to the origin of design and analyze the existence of “an object.” On the basis of Taiwanese culture and the stimulus of Taiwan Cultural & Creative Industries, hope we can rediscover our new cultural feature.
