In addition, this study explored the effects of different background variables on the four items in the store’s employees. The adequacy of the linear-structure model of job performance was examined. A questionnaire survey was conducted. A total of 500 questionnaires were issued with 312 copies returned at the usability ratio at 62%. The “Interaction and Anxiousness Scale”, “The convenience store’s Employees Social Skills Scale”, “Job Satisfaction Scale”, and “The convenience store’s Employees Job Performance Scale “ were introduced as the research measurement to collect the necessary data. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t -test, one-way ANOVA, canonical correlation, and structural equation modeling(SEM). The research results after the statistical analysis are in the following: 1) The social anxiety of employees significantly differs from gender, and age. 2) The social skills of employees significantly differs from gender, age, work experience, and position. 3) The job satisfaction of employees significantly differs from age, education, work experience, and position. 4) The job performance of employees significantly differs from gender, age, education, work experience, and position. 5) The correlation among social anxiety, social skills, and job satisfaction are significant. 6) The correlation among social skills, job satisfaction, and job performance are significant. 7) The correlation between job satisfaction and job performance are significant. 8) The adequacy of the linear-structure model of job performance in the store’s employees is fine. Social anxiety has an negative effect on social skills. Social skills has an positive effect between job satisfaction and job performance. Social anxiety has an indirect effect between job satisfaction and job performance. The research findings provided several suggestions for convenience store’s managers on retail recruiting, education, and job evaluation. Also, directions of future academic study are presented.
