From the questionnaire of parents’ marriage, the researcher uses purposive sampling to choose four single women experiencing their parents’ marital conflict at least for two years. Those women named themselves because of certain reasons. Their names are Hsiao Heng Heng (Heng), Miss Princess, Chiu Tzi (Chiu), and Persian Cat (Persian). They have been had love affairs with their boy friends at least for half a year. Heng has grown up under complaints about her father from her mother. The conflict from her parents has made her father angry but helpless, while her mother has even been complaining about her marital conflicts to other people. Miss Princess was born in the family with domestic violence. Her father is short tempered to anyone whether his is drunk or not. Her mother has put up with him for a long time up to now. Chiu has grown up in a patriarchy family. Her mother is short tempered and easily gets angry and starts a fight with her father. Her father has no way out but left to end up their fights. Persian’s mother is so busy at work that it was her father to take care of her instead. Her father often asked for money to gamble but her mother refused, which has made the main reason that caused their marital conflict. The researcher has designed an interviewed outline and has private conversations in detail with those women. Data collected was analyzed individually based on Working Model of Attachments presented by Collins and Read and the theory structure of moral integrity addressed by Horney. The following is the results of the study: (1) The attachments relationship between Heng and her father was save and close, and that between she and her mother was surrendered and pleasing. Her working model of attachments in love affairs with her boy friend was uneasy-pleasing. (2) Miss Prince has two-level attachments relationships. With her father, the internal relationship was hostile with anger while the external was surrendered. With her mother, the internal relationship was filled with complaints and separation while the external was commiseration. With her boy friend, the working model was also two levels. The internal relationship was uneasy while the external was hostile and dominating. (3) The attachments relationship with Chiu and her father was distant and full of disappointment. The relationship with her father was distant and full of rejection. The working model with her boy friend was distant and she would try to please him. (4) The attachments relationship with Persian and her father was uneasy -pleasing. The attachments relationship with Persian and her mother was hostile and distant. Her working model with her boy friend was uneasy and dominating. From the results, the researcher found that the responders experiencing parents’ marital conflict threatened by their mother’s emotion expressed their working models as anxious-pleasing type in their love relationships. Those who experienced violent treatments by their fathers expressed their working models as dominating type in their love relationships. Furthermore, based on the current categories of types and levels of working models, the relationship of each responder has at least two kinds of types and belongs to two levels of working models at the same time, which indicated that every individual is unique and complicated. Moreover, the current types and models cannot cover and distinguish various types of attachments in love relationships. Liao,Feng-Tsu 廖鳳池 學位論文 ; thesis 168 zh-TW |

The study aims to discuss the experiences of attachments of single women experiencing their parents’ marital conflict, the working model of attachments in the love relationships of those single women, and the relationships between them, the experiences, and the working model.
The following is the results of the study:
(1) The attachments relationship between Heng and her father was save and close, and that between she and her mother was surrendered and pleasing.
