碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 輔導與諮商研究所 === 97 === The Adjusting Process Research of Marital Relationship Among Infertile Women Cheng , Hsiu-Feng Abstract The main purpose of this research paper was to explore the influence of infertile women during their marital relationship, and let us realize the adjusting process of women who are married. According to the result of research we could make a concrete suggestion to offer marriage families as practical reference. The research adopted narrative research and “holistic-content” analysis, presented four infertile women stories with their analysis, and made a comprehensive discussion. Conclusions of this study were as the following: Ⅰ The marital relationship and adjusting process before the infertile women receive treatment: 1. Giving birth to children is an important value of marriage. 2. The infertile women feel the discomfort of shame to husband. 3. The infertile women make efforts to find out self-control cability. Ⅱ The marital relationship and adjusting process during the period of the infertile women receive treatment： 1. The infertile women fail in curing and shrink form human relation. 2. The tension of marital relationship. 3. Couple’s suffering together and facing the problem positively. 4. The reflection and starting afresh to the marital relation. Based on the results above, some comments were offered for infertile women, counseling practice and the future research.
