Summary: | 碩士 === 高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 97 === Mr. Robert Baden-Powell initiated the Scouting, and the essence focus on the “learning by doing, preparation, giving service to the humanity and the society” is similar with education policies of the Kaohsiung Municipal Bureau of Education. It also the same with the goal of curriculum that is cultivating the abilities students can bring with. Therefore, the significance and function of cub scouting activities is very significant. How to make cub scouting activities continue, raising the number of students, and permanent development is the theme worthy of the faculty of elementary school to concern.
The purpose of this study is to probe into the situation of the implementation of cub scouting activities on elementary school and to analyze the differences in the cub scouting activities among the faculty of elementary school with different background variables. The study adopted the questionnaire survey. The research subjects are the faculty of Kaohsiung municipal elementary school. The research tool is modified from Gwo-Ji Wu’s questionnaire “The Study of Cub Scouting Activities on Kaohsiung Municipal Elementary Schools” of “The Study of Cub Scouting Development on Taipei Municipal Elementary Schools”. The date of the questionnaire was analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, average, standard deviation, and one-way ANOVA within SPSS. According to the date analysis, the conclusion as follow:
1. The significance and function of the cub scouting activities has significant difference among elementary teachers with different background variables-the number of class, function, age, the seniority of being attendant, and the Scouting discipline- in Kaohsiung.
2. The content and administration of the cub scouting activities has significant difference among elementary teachers with different background variables-the number of class, function, the seniority of being attendant, and the Scouting discipline - in Kaohsiung.
3. The influential factors of the cub scouting activities don’t have significant difference among elementary teachers with different background variables-the number of class, function, age, the seniority of being attendant, and the Scouting discipline - in Kaohsiung.
4. The strategies of the cub scouting activities have significant difference among elementary teachers with different background variables-the number of class, the seniority of being attendant, and the Scouting discipline - in Kaohsiung.
Based on the research conclusion, specific suggestions have been proposed for the elementary school, administrative authorities and the future research.
