Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 97 === Abstract The study intends to figure out the relation between life significance and practice towards spiritual cultivators to develop a model of life education in Taiwan. The research subject in the study is the spiritual cultivators who have taken certain ways to maintain their cultivation over one year in Taiwan, and the study is proceeded by questionnaire survey and in-depth interview. Furthermore, the questionnaire as “life significance and practice towards spiritual cultivators” in the study designed by the researcher is proceeded with purposive random sampling to get and analyze the quantitative data of life significance and practice towards those spiritual cultivators, and then try to realize the difference. In quantitative data analysis, it proceeds the post- data comparison with frequency distribution of descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheff é and Games-Howell method, and then it proceeds hypotheses test and anticipation in the study. In qualitative data analysis, it takes semistructured interview and makes conclusions with data classification and induction in the study. At last, the research conclusions and advices are provided from the main research results in the study. Here are the study results as follows 1.The cognition for life significance towards spiritual cultivators achieves middle degree. 2..The cognition for life practice towards spiritual cultivators achieves middle degree. 3.It is different among spiritual cultivators with different background in life significance. 4.It is different among spiritual cultivators with different background in life practice. 5.The cognition of life significance and the opinion of life practice towards spiritual cultivators are positively correlative. 6.The cognition of life significance towards spiritual cultivators may be the reference for their life practice, and “significant living” can be the main anticipative variable. Here are the advices from those results as follows 1.The advice for society and organization to promote life and spirit education. A.The viewpoint for life towards spiritual cultivators is to seem all living things as one, and it is far beyond the life value with there is just human being as the only living subject. It is worth being the reference for social group or government to promote life education. B.Wisdom for life realization and practice from spiritual cultivators are supposed to be respectful, and it can be the main significance of life education lesson in society and school. 2 are supposed to be respectful and kept objectively verifiable attitude by social population. 3.Spiritual cultivators should respect and different cultivatable significance and practice from other belief. 4.The advices towards the process of spiritual life from social population 5.The advices for different belief A.To respect different belief to build peaceful land. B.To build spiritual vihara for keeping social harmony. The advices for spiritual cultivators 1.To combine spiritual self-awareness and significant living. 2.To face secret experiences and special interaction objectively. 3.To purify people’s mentality with human-based cultivatable concept. The advices for further studies 1.For research subjects It can expand the selecting range for sampling such as they can expand the sampling non-religion spiritual cultivators and small spiritual cultivation groups in proceeding further studies. 2.For research methods It can also proceed in-depth interview and group interview to do the long-term systematic and entire field data collection, and then compare with different research data and get more reliable and correct research results and inferences from cultivatable cognitions of spiritual cultivators in further studies. 3.For research variables It can include those group variables as characteristics and distribution of vihara, origin of belief, and masters of religions, and those variables may make research results and inferences more complete in further studies.
