Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 音樂學系 === 97 === The study is aim to delve into the development of National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra’s (NTSO) impetus to music education and its actualization. Methods of document researches, resources collection and interviews are adopted to understand the fours periods of NTSO’s development on impetus to music education and its actualization. The four periods are respectively start-up stage, enlightenment stage, mature stage and transformation stage from 1955 to 2008. The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.Development of history is classified into six periods according to the alternation of designation, while the development of impetus to music education is categorized into four periods because of changing authorities, moving towards Wufeng, Taichung and some factors concerned. 2.Research and Planning Division took charge of impetus to music education for years up to 1975, whereas Guidance and Extension Division makes overall planning later. 3.Contents on impetus to music education are of great variety and multiple, which transforms and alters with the spatiotemporal changes on the whole society. 4.When at the mature stage, NTSO cooperated with The Department of Education, Taiwan Provincial Government. Hence, profound contribution was made to help schools’ music education and promote communities’ music education. 5.Orchestral directors and different spatiotemporal environments play influential roles on different directions and proportion to impetus to music education. 6.Compared to a relatively passive role in early stages, NTSO turns into a more active role on impetus to music education in schools at current stage; nevertheless, the degree of participation is drastically less because of orchestral transformation later. 7.At this moment NTSO puts emphasis on the building of taiwan music cutural zone.
