Graduate Date: June, 2009 Degree Conferred: Master Graduated Student:Shu-Hui Yang Adviser: Chen-Yen Wang PH.D More and more females like to be single these days, in addition, her life span is longer than men’s which will bring a phenomenon as “more aging, more women”. In this modern era with so many variable financial management resources, wheather or not knowing how to understand financial management and financial management will cause the huge gap between rich and poor. Therefore, being a modern lady must be allowed to own all of the steps to catch up with the times, understand the financial management tools, and make progress in the financial situation. This study is concerned about the correlation between fondness of financial management articles and financial management satisfaction for the unmarried women., adapting self-edited questionnaire as the reserching tool and the statistical methodology included percentage, t-test, one-way ANOVA, two-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation.. According to the result of the data analysis, the research provides some suggestions for improvement. 1. Unmarried women prefer the stability of the financial management articles and which are related to insurance commodities are the main choice. 2. There are significant differences in preferences of the financial management commodities due to unmarried women’s different age, average monthly income, and salaries accounted for an average investment proportion. 3. Financial management satisfaction is below the average, especially in the loans commodities, the correlation is negative. 4. University (including the specialist) educated, middle income and have financial management experience of 5 years, the average proportion of investment accounted for about 5% below of salary. 5. Unmarried women in the management of goods preference satisfaction and financial management will be different because of age, average monthly income, the average proportion of investment accounted. Preferences on financial products, only some of the unmarried women reached a significant level only. Financial satisfaction, there was no significant difference between unmarried women. Occupation, educational level, experience of financial management do not cause significant difference in financial management preferences on commodity and financial management satisfaction.
