However it may cause potential risk for human bodies, animals, and environment. The objective of this study is to evaluate dissipation pattern of pesticides including synthetic pyrethroid and organophosphorus pesticide. Fenvalerate, lambda-cyhalothrin, permethrin, and phorate were investigated in the field. Concentration of pesticide was measured in adzuki and cabbage planting after spray practice. Routine sampling of soil and groundwater samples were conducted to evaluate the dissipation pattern of pesticides. Concentration change and mobility of pesticides was examined in this study. The results indicated that the dissipation pattern was varied in the first two days. Concentration of fenvalerate was reduced to less than half of the original concentration in the first two days. Apparent mobility of fenvalerate was observed when fenvalerate was detected in the subsoil. Lambda-cyhalothrin was easily dissipated after spraying in the early stage. Thus, the residual lambda-cyhalothrin is relatively low. Permethrin was detected in the top soil and subsoil after spray. After that dissipation pattern showed the similar trend. However the dissipation pattern of phorate is different due to its granular nature The effective ingredients of phorate was not shown due to the coating materials outside granules.
