To be able to be of assistant for teaching and learning has always been the most important aspect for introducing media into educational environment. The scheme to introduce electronic interactive whiteboard into educational environment has included highly-interactive and multi-media function that has never been adopted into teaching equipment before, and both Educational Bureau and teaching teams that are within the scheme have hold high expectation for it to be impacting to Taiwanese informational education. The research paper has looked into colleges that are involved in the scheme within Kaohsiung Area in order to investigate an in-depth study into the implementation of electronic interactive whiteboard into educational environment. The research paper has adopted qualitative research method, and has been organised via various process and method including interviews, site observation, and document research and analysis for structuring the research, and has adopted method such as feedback、triangle verification in order to ensure the reliability of the research. The research result for the use of electronic interactive whiteboard within educational environment has concluded the following points – 1. Tutors are pleased and willing to use the electronic interactive whiteboard within the lectures. 2. The use of electronic interactive whiteboard could assist the lecture to proceed more smoothly and has exhibited capability to enrich the quality and variety of presentation. 3. The use of electronic interactive whiteboard within lectures could increase students’ degree of focus and willingness of learning. 4. Exploration and analysis of adopting electronic interactive whiteboard into lectures and its effect to learning efficiency. Furthermore, a few aspects that are needed to be improved have also been investigated within the research paper – 1. Contingent possibilities of damaging of the hardware. 2. Lack of team and administrative support. 3. Pressure with lecture schedule. 4. Uncomfortable glare from projectors. Due to the plan that Educational Bureau have expected to expand the scale of the scheme once its current experiment on selected educational units have proven to have positive result. The research paper aims to provide Educational Bureau and relevant organizations reference and suggestion, in order to assist further positive development in due scheme. Abstract
