However, the micro-drills have the disadvantages, such as, the problem in aspect ratio, its more likely to be worn in usage and weak ability in chip flow and in dissipating heat. These problems are capable of promoting a situation of drills in curing deviation, quickly flank wear and break in working process. Therefore, an acknowledgement in drill’s wear condition and its ability of drilling has become a crucial issue. Objective of this research is to study the change thrust force of micro-drill in connection with its flank wear condition, and it also parallels the wear of drill with working in exquisite degree in order to explore changes and effects of the micro-drill in process. Moreover, an experiment is employed to observe the connections of thrust force and flank wear of drill by comparison, presenting that the changes in the thrust force correspond to the conditions of the flank wear of drill. It helps us to recognize quality of producing, being influenced by the degree of flank wear of drill. Hopefully, this research contributes to the developments in the working of micro-drilling.
