Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 運籌管理所 === 97 === Under the raising environmental concerns and green product regulations, enterprises eventually have to face the pollution control problem. The production of any green product relies on not only the measurements one company/industry take but also what its upstream and downstream companies/industries do. Therefore, the green supply chain management becomes an important issue. However, previous studies mostly focus on case studies or individual industry discussion or cross industries comparisons and no study has done a complete supply chain analysis. Thus, the purpose of this thesis is attempting to understand the attitudes and perspectives of green supply chain through upstream and downstream companies. We construct Ordered Logit models for following empirical analysis using the data collected from the upstream and downstream of semiconductor industry. This study examined the aspects of the implementation of green supply chain including environment management, green purchase, design and manufacture, and collaboration cross the supply chain. The results show that differences exist on the behaviors across semiconductor industry’s supply chain. The motivation of green supply chain implemention is mainly from customer requirement. Also, the location of major market and the size of the company also affect the implementation. Furthermore, we find that the downstream of the semiconductor industry, packaging and testing, is affected more under the green product regulations when compared with IC design and IC manufacturing.
