Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 資訊管理所 === 97 === Along with fast development in modern information technology, medical information service must adapt to the trend and start its service system and integration in the new era. To cope with huge medical system, the processing and application of medical information has become the index for the modernization of a hospital. Traditional X ray film operation not only causes loads to labor and space, but also destroys the time effectiveness and correctness of medical information transmission.
Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) has the advantages such as fastness and convenience, the enhancement of diagnostic effectiveness, the reduction of the storage space for the film, the convenience for the management and borrowing action, the fitness to environmental protection concept and the fitness to the remote medical application, hence, it has become one of the important evaluation items for the introduction of information system in some major hospitals in recent years. However, in the past, researches regarding this aspect are still mostly limited to the technical layer, there are very few scholars doing the investigation from the user’s point of view; however, the real utilization situation of PACS and the induced feeling from the medical personnel is one of the important keys related to success or not of the introduction of PACS. Therefore, we must provide more complete total inspection on different perspectives of PACS, and such architecture and model is going to provide a clearer answer to academic researchers, suppliers in the industry and management personnel in the practical industry regarding user’s satisfaction and influence on user’s attitude and user’s intention.
For the investigation from the user’s point of view, Davis had proposed for the first time in 1986 the Technology Acceptance Model, which is a model with excellence theory in the explanation and prediction of personal acceptance in information technology. DeLone and McLean (1992) had proposed an Information System Success Model that has multiple perspectives and is very complete, that is, the concept of “information system success” has been conceptualized and made operable. This research has integrated technology acceptance model and information system model, and through verification, it was found that these two researches show complementary characteristic in the cause-and-effect chain of designing the key features of the system.
In this study, TAM and DeLone and McLean models are integrated so as to propose a new model, which includes nine perspectives: recognition of ease to use, utilization attitude, recognition of its usefulness, system quality, information quality, utilization willingness, utilization satisfaction and net effectiveness; moreover, the evaluation indexes of the success model of medical image storage and transmission system are investigated and verified. Finally, the major findings of this research are as in the followings:
1. The theoretical model of this research is found to be supported.
2. Most of the hypotheses of this research are supported.
3. The satisfaction on the introduction of PACS information system from the medical personnel shows generally satisfied.
4. Most of the medical personnel thought that PACS information system is helpful to the clinical diagnosis and effectiveness.
