碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 風險管理與保險所 === 97 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of claim with basic factors in Taiwan’s compulsory auto liability insurance and voluntary auto third party liability insurance. Relying on the data collected from a Taiwan’s insurance broker company and using Logistic regression analysis. We found that (1) for the compulsory auto liability insurance -- (i) the coverage quarter and the types of automobile have significant impact on claim. (ii) the coverage quarter has significant positive impact on claim, and the types of automobile has significant negative impact on claim. (2) for the voluntary auto third party liability insurance -- (i) the coverage year, the coverage quarter, the area of automobile registered and the ranks of sex/age have significant impact on claim. (ii) the coverage year has significant negative impact on claim, and the coverage quarter, the area of automobile registered and the ranks of sex/age have significant negative impact.
