碩士 === 國立高雄海洋科技大學 === 航運管理研究所 === 98 === The purpose of this research is to explore the key factors of shipper that chooses the freight forwarder. The results of this study may provide a reference for freight forwarders to augment capabilities of creating business. A structured questionnaire was created on the basis of relevant literature review and in-depth interviews with experts. The questionnaire was mailed to the importers and exporters in Taiwan. Totally, 82 copies of the questionnaire were collected. This result of research shows no matter the scale of shipper's own enterprises or one's own inside environmental condition, the key factors of shippers choose the freight forwarder is the same. The important factor always be “SERVICE”，not Cheaper freight.
