碩士 === 國立宜蘭大學 === 自然資源學系碩士班 === 97 === Study of Environmental Perception and Community Forestry : Coastal Windbreak of Hi-Ann Community, Yi-Lan County Abstract In order to understand the feasibility that community residents participate in maintenance of coastal windbreak, this study introduced the theories relevant to environmental perception as case study that focus on residents’ viewpoint of windbreak, coherence of community consciousness, and collective activities participated by community residents, and explore the forming of operational, perceptional, and behavior environment through geographical environment of windbreak. applying the information of environmental perception of windbreak and proposals rendered to establish partnership between forestry government and community for development of community forestry is further studied. This study was proceeding in Hi-Ann community of Nan-Ao Township in I-Lan County adjacent coastal windbreak based on qualitative research method including data collection , interview, principally and assistance by questionnaire. Conclusions are as follows: 1. Hi-Ann community residents have consistent viewpoint on the change and environmental of windbreak. 2. How does windbreak which is disappearing influence environmental value, execution, and decision making of the community residents. 3. The community leader and society organization are the two important factors and solid community perception to keep Hi-Ann community residents participating public affairs. 4. The community could be inspired by current organization operation to participate in rebuilding and maintenance of coastal windbreak.
