Summary:碩士 === 南華大學 === 傳播學系碩士班 === 97 ===   The main purpose of this study is to examine the impacts of voters'' media use and interpersonal communications based on Taipei and Kaohsiung''s Mayor elections in 2006. And it discusses the relationship between media use, interpersonal communications, political trust and political efficacy. Secondary data analysis was used to the study and the data was from Taiwan''s Election and Democratization Study, 2005-2008 (II): The City Mayor Election, 2006 (TEDS2006C).      Results show that age, political cross-pressure and political trust to influence voters in determining the time to vote in Taipei, but reading newspapers and political external efficacy could influence voters in Kaohsiung City. In addition, education, listening to the radio news and political trust are important factors for voters in Taipei City whoever you vote, however education and political internal efficacy are key factors in Kaohsiung.
