These models describe a common phenomenon of War, and some of the models are based on historical data bases. Therefore it is reasonable to assume that there are some sort of similarities among combat attrition models.
This research focuses on the comparison between Dupuy’s work(1992) referred as“Dupuy Attrition Equation”and Lanchesterian Equation . The result shows that the formation of simplified Dupuy’s Equation is similar to Mixed Linear－Logarithmic Law. The findings reveal a feasible approach to unify above attrition models and the unification combines excellent properties of mathematics from Lanchesterian Equation and various realistic combat factors from Dupuy Attrition Equation.
