Summary: | 碩士 === 國立東華大學 === 教育研究所 === 97 === The purpose of this research is to study the characteristics of Le-Le Primary School children’s band, the process of forming and training children’s bands and the required capabilities of children’s bands’ instructors. The methodology of this research is to collect and analyze related documentations while a questionnaire and personal experiences are adopted.
The conclusions are as below.
1. the characteristics of Le-Le Primary School children’s band
Le-Le Primary School children’s band enables students to be in touch with music through music games and arises their interests to music. It also enhances the effect of Music Education and Collaboration Education. In Le-Le Primary School, music popularization could be carried out through its children’s band.
2. the process of forming and training children’s bands
There is no standardization in members and musical instruments. It is subject to be adjusted based on school budgets, class numbers and students’ level. The training program shall include sense of rhythm, musical instruments performance and musical instruments ensemble. The facilities are also based on schools’ resources. A soundproof classroom or auditorium equipped with sufficient light and good sound effects is more appropriate. The autonomous management methods with student leaders, reward system and band rules are set to motivate students.
3. the required capabilities of children’s bands’ instructors
Except for the knowledge and performance of musical instruments, a children’s band’s instructor is required to have the ability of conduction, interpretation and arrangement of music compositions, as well as guidance skills.
