However, there appeared the phenomenon of eutrophication in the water in 2004; the widespread growth of red algae resulted in the lake with different shades, and the northern part of it was finally suffused with the water of black and the floating red algae on September 20th, 2007. It showed the phenomenon that the pool water quality worsened. The government has popularized the homestay of every scenic spot for developing sightseeing in recent years. And the used waste water from the newly set-up houses for homestay has also aggravated the degree of eutrophication. To understand the reasons why the water quality gets eutrophicated gradually, the lake reservoir Vollenweider mathematics water quality model to estimate the concentration of pollution is utilized. The aim is to aim at analyzing the polluted conditions resulting from the various recreational activities, and the use of the nearby land in the pool district. The outcome shows that its pollution concentration of biochemical oxygen demand and total phosphorus (TP) are 0.5463mg/L and 0.0156mg/L are smaller than the class-A water body standard, that the pollution concentration of total nitrogen (TN) is 0.373mg/L, and that the discharged pollution from the recreational activities, restaurants, and homestay households is regarded biochemical oxygen demand as the highest, estimated to be 28543kg every year, the total nitrogen regarded the second, estimated to be 6708kg every year, and then the total phosphorus TP, estimated to be 1165kg every year. This research proposes that the ways to deal with it be the damming sewage project for waste water of living around Liyu Lake surrounding not being poured into it, and causing the clean surface water of the brook from Lao Stream located to the south of the Lake into it to improve in a short term, that wetland water plants of artificial ecology be used to get rid of the organic materials which discharge the sewage of living, and as well as the operation of the removing silt of the bottom be carried on in the middle term, and that the complete sewage collected system and eventually construct the waste water treatment plant of Liyu Lake be constructed in the long term. All of the above offer suggestions which improve the water quality in Liyu Lake water area for reference for as a the authorities concerned in the management and administration.
