Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育行政與政策發展研究所 === 97 === The study discussed the relationship of the self-control and the deviant behaviors of the students in the elementary schools. The secondary data analysis method was used and the data which were in 2007 that adopted from ‘The Research of Students’ Physical and Mental Development in Taiwan’ in National Academy for Educational Research. The study tool was adapted the students’ self-control scale and the students’ deviant behavior scale from the plan. The data were analyzed in the statistical methods using factor analysis, T-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple stepwise regression analysis. The result as follow: 1. The study divided the ‘deviant behavior’ variable into ‘school deviant behavior’, ‘normal deviant behavior’ and ‘conflict with others’ three concepts; divided the ’self-control’ variable into ‘self-center’, ‘physical activities’, ‘taking risk’, ‘careless’ and ‘impulse’ five concepts by the factor analysis. 2. There was significant difference at some concepts and whole part of ‘deviant behavior’ and some concepts and whole part of ’self-control’ in the gander, residential area and parents’ marriage variables. And there was only significant difference at the ‘normal deviant behavior’ concept in the paternal education degree variable. 3. There was significant correlation at some concepts and whole part of ‘deviant behavior’ and some concepts and whole part of ’self-control’ in the students’ study achievement persecution and health status variables. 4. There was predicting ability for the concepts ‘self-center’, ‘physical activities’, ‘careless’ and ‘impulse’ of the ‘self-control’ variable to the ‘deviant behavior’ variable. Based on the findings above, the suggestions are provided for the educational institutions and correlate study in the future to be the reference material.
