Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育學系研究所 === 97 === The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship among teacher stress,exercise behavior and health condition of the junior high school teachers. Survey method was employed for this study . Five hundred and forty-six junior high school teachers from 27 junior high school in Hsinchu County , Taichung City , Chiayi County and Taitung County were selected by multistage cluster sampling as the
subjects .The analysis procedures includes t-test, multivariate analysis of variance , chi-square test , and Pearson’s product-moment correlation .
The major findings of this study were as follows:
1. The average score of teacher stress is 1.93 in four-point Likert scale . The major teacher stress is “student’s behavior and learing”.
2. About 21.5% of the junior high school teachers had regular exercise participation . The exercise duration between 30 and 60 minutes is the most popular. The intensity was relaxation .
3. The average score of the teacher’s health is 1.59 in four-point Likert scale . It’s necessary to pay attention to the teacher’s physical health condition affect body condition .
4. Teachers in different gender , age , marital status, teachers’position and teachers’ teach department have scores of teacher stress statistically significant difference .
5. Teachers in different gender , age , marital status, teachers’position and teachers’ teach department have scores of recreation sport participation frequency statistically significant difference .
6. Teachers in different gender have scores of recreation sport participation times statistically significant difference .
7. Teachers in different gender , age , marital status, teachers’position and teachers’ teach department have scores of health condition statistically significant difference .
8. Teachers in different recreation sport participation frequency and times have scores of teacher stress statistically significant difference .
9. Teachers in different recreation sport participation frequency and times have scores of teacher health condition statistically significant difference .
10.Teachers with regular recreation sport participation have less stress and better health condition than teachers without regular exercise .
11. There was a significant relationship between scores of teacher stress and health condition of junior high school teachers . The teachers have higher stress will have worse health condition .
According to those conclusions the author propose some suggestions to educational practice and further studies as well .
