Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 教育學系研究所 === 97 === This study aims to clarify the current distribution of labor and organizational justice among teachers involved in uncompensated administrative work in elementary schools in Yunlin County, and to explore the different perceptions towards distribution of labor and organizational justice among the elementary school teachers involved in uncompensated administrative work with different background variables, as well as the correlation between the distribution of labor and organizational justice. A questionnaire survey targeted at the teachers involved in uncompensated administrative work in elementary schools in Yunlin County is conducted, with 469 valid questionnaires.
The conclusions of this study are summarized as follows:
1. The teachers involved in uncompensated administrative work in elementary schools in Yunlin County demonstrate a medium level of perception towards the current distribution of labor. Among the dimensions of labor distribution, the dimension of “labor distribution satisfaction” displays the highest level of perception.
2. The teachers involved in uncompensated administrative work in elementary schools in Yunlin County exhibit an above-the-medium level of perception towards the current organizational justice. The dimension of “interactional justice” displays the highest level of perception, among all the dimensions of labor distribution.
3. The elementary school teachers of different genders in Yunlin County show apparently different perceptions towards the overall organizational justice and procedural justice. Male teachers have higher perceptions of the overall organizational justice and procedural justice than do female teachers.
4. The elementary school teachers coming from different educational backgrounds in Yunlin County demonstrate prominent differences in their perceptions in terms of labor distribution scales. Compared with teachers trained in general universities, for example, teachers trained in colleges or universities of education display higher perceptions towards the distribution of labor. However, no obvious difference is shown in the perceptions of elementary school teachers in Yunlin County towards the labor distribution scales, in spite of their different genders, lengths of service and grades they teach.
5. The teachers at elementary schools of different sizes in Yunlin County exhibit notable differences in their perceptions as reflected in the labor distribution scales. The teachers from small-sized elementary schools with no more than 12 classes demonstrate the highest perceptions. No apparent difference is observed in the perceptions of elementary school teachers in Yunlin County toward the labor distribution scales, despite their different genders, lengths of service and grades they teach.
6. Obvious positive correlations are revealed in the perceptions of the elementary school teachers involved in uncompensated administrative work towards the distribution of labor and organizational justice. It may be inferred that the level of perception towards the distribution of labor tends to influence the perception of organizational justice, i.e. the higher the perception towards the distribution of labor is, the higher the perception of organizational justice. Apparent correlations can also be seen between the dimensions of distribution of labor and those of organizational justice. Among them, the dimension of “labor distribution satisfaction” of labor distribution and the entire organizational justice and all its related dimensions display the highest correlation coefficients.
