碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 農學研究所 === 97 === The object of this research is on residents from Fuxing Shiang district in Taoyuan County in watershed. To understand the opinions of the residents, we adopt questionnaire regarding their cognition of eco-tourism, their attitudes towards it’s strategy. This research adopt convenience-sampling method, which focus on interviewing the aborigine residents, in order to find out the premier political expectation and the local peoples cognition on ecotourism. Besides, the cognitions and attitudes of residents in Fuxing Shiang toward develop sustainable tourism or eco-tourism were studied. This research use cluster analysis to divide the aborigine into three groups that are appreciate ”the group of taking account of law”, “the group of experiencing the eco-conservation”, and “the group of taking account of community developing”, Besides, different aboriginal attributes of three groups were test. The result shows that three groups were significant difference on education, residence and occupation. In the opinion of management, they expected the government may offer more help to farmers to solve the crop problem which caused by the eco-conservation, and paid them some proper compensation. The government should also guide those farmers the way of reducing the damage that originate from eco-conservation. The aborigine also hoped that they have more opportunity in communication and interaction with government, furthemore become good partner.
