Summary: | 碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 園藝學系研究所 === 97 === The study was investigated about plant crops of four seasons in 31 villages along the coastal region of Chiayi County. The results have shown that on winter the highest frequency of maize and sweet potato were cultured in 14 and 13 villages, respectively. In spring the highest frequency is sweet potato, lettuce and dragon fruit were cultured in 6, 5 and 5 villages, however, the highest frequency of sweet potato and sponge gourd were cultured in 11 and 10 villages is happened on summer. While in autumn the highest frequency of sweet potato and sponge gourd were cultured in 14 and 13 villages, respectively. All of plant crops that sweet potato was the highest frequency of four seasons. After planting the investigation of crops of four seasons in villages along the coastal region of Chiayi County, the data have indicated that the coastal area of Chiayi County, the culture of the crop easily to suffered stress that made plant area decline and a few culture kind of crops difficult to grow. Therefore this studied was salt tolerance of crops seed germination, expected to understand the effect of seed germination under different salinity. The salt tolerance of crops was studied by 60 kinds of crop seeds germination under 11 salinity concentrations (0% to 3% NaCl). The results shown that 20 crops including Floramor were salt sensitivity, 10 crops including ‘Wanye’ lettuce were middle salt sensitivity, 12 crops including pickled cabbage were middle salt tolerance and 18 crops including ‘Heiye’ chinese white cabbage were salt tolerance. The salt tolerance of ‘Djulis’ was studied under salinity field. Harvest time was at 13th week, plant height, shoot width, above-ground fresh weight, below-ground fresh weight, above-ground dry weight and below-ground dry weight of djulis plant in 0.5% soil is significantly higher than 1.0% soil at harvest. The salt tolerance of maize was studied under 0.5% soil and 1.0% soil. Plant height and plant shoot width of ‘Tainan No. 21’ Maize is higher than other maize. Those results will be determined that initialed the salt tolerance of crops seed germination, conferred on the crops seed salinity. Be the base of salt tolerance crops for selective breeding.
