First, a half-bridge series-parallel resonant inverter is built, and the phase-locked loop technology is applied to ensure the half-bridge series-parallel resonant inverter steadily to operate at the point which is a little higher than the resonant frequency. In this way, the zero-voltage-switching can be achieved, and it also makes sure that the output of the maximum power can be provided. Then, the equivalent model of the contactless coupled transformer is analyzed for using in the simulation and design of the proposed system. The switch-controlled capacitor is also adapted to change the characteristics of the resonant circuit, to attain the regulation of the output voltage and keep the half-bridge series-parallel resonant inverter operating at the point which is a little higher than the resonant frequency. Finally, a 900W resonant-frequency-regulated high-frequency sinusoidal power supplier is designed and implemented to verify the feasibility and performance of the proposed resonant-frequency-regulated high-frequency sinusoidal power supplier. Experimental results show that the proposed half-bridge series-parallel resonant inverter actually can output the maximum power in variable load. The function of the switch-controlled capacitor also works well in voltage regulation as the theory expects.
