The maintenance personnel are responsible for the maintaining. If their job performance can be improved, it can not only ensure the maintaining go smoothly but also promote the equipment efficiency, meet the high technology company requirements and the goal of saving manintenance cost. Based on the relevant literature reviews, this research adopts the Delphi technique, through the discussion of twenty-three scholars and professionals’ interviews and three times’ investigation of Delphi technique questionnaire surveys, obtaining information on the maintenance personnel’s performance improvement of high technology company, referred to the suggestions and points of view of scholars and professionals, and through the process of data analysis, the common consensus is reached. As a result, the critical success factors for advancing the maintenance personnel’s performance of high technology company are concluded as follows: educational training that the maintenance personnel receive, incentive Strategies on the performance, organizational factors, knowledge of the maintenance personnel, personal factors of the maintenance personnel, skills and abilities of the maintenance personnel. It consists of six dimensions and sixty-eight sub-themes. The study results attempted to help explore the critical success factors for improving the maintenance personnel’s performance of high technology company, and would provide helpful consultation that could be used by public agencies and high technology company for the performance improvement of maintenance personnel.
