Summary: | 博士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 商業教育學系 === 97 === Economic education is an important part of business education. Economics is an essential subject for students at business department. However, in our technological and vocational education system, economics lecture in colleges overlaps many parts of economics in high schools. In order to avoid overlapping learning, this study utilizes some educational theories, such as Ralph Tyler’s curriculum ideas, concept learning and cognitive flexibility to research. It aims at transforming traditional economics textbook into a new concept, “economic man”. Also, it adopts the new text materials to do quasi-experiment for business students at technological and vocational colleges in middle part of Taiwan for two months. This quasi-experiment targets at understanding students’ economic expertise, micro- economic concept mapping, learning motivation and learning experience. Moreover, this study applies qualitative research method to assist the result of quantitative analyses. In conclusion, this paper found that the new text materials is feasible for students and its result is significant positive. This paper also recommends that relative economic education colleagues could adopt this new text materials or revise a new one for students at technological and vocational education system and broaden discussion of this topic.
