Summary: | 碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 97 === The purpose of the study was to examine the relationships among bank supervisor's ethical leadership, employees' organizational commitment, and ethical behavior.
The population of the study was the employees of 37 domestic banks in Taiwan. Twenty banks were selected by a stratified sampling method. A total of 316 valid questionnaires were collected out of the 1,000 issued with a legitimate return rate of 31.6%. The instruments of the study included “ethical leadership questionnaires”, “organizational commitment questionnaires”, and “ethical behavior questionnaires”. The Cronbach α were 0.968、0.961、0.895 respectively. The results were as follows:
1. The perceptions of bank employees on the ethical leadership, organizational commitment and ethical behavior were good.
2. There were significant differences among bank supervisor’s ethical leadership, employees' organizational commitment, and ethical behavior on different background variables.
3. The bank supervisor’s ethical leadership was positively related to the employees’ organizational commitment and ethical behavior;the bank employees’ organizational commitment was positively related to their ethical behavior.
4. Results indicate that “sincer concern” from bank supervisor and “retention commitment” of employees were the best predictor of employess’ ethical behavior.
