As the result, this research will use the actual development of C-type retainer ring pressed into the design process equipment as an example. It will contain detailed analysis on design process starting from the tailored design suited client demand, definition and formation of the equipment operating procedure concepts, design of manufactured parts and application of parts available on the market, choices of power sources, and standardization of deviations of parts and surface heat process.
