Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 化學研究所 === 97 === The conversion of sunlight to electricity using dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) represents one of the most promising methods for future large-scale power production from renewable energy sources. In these cells the sensitizer is one of the key components, harvesting the solar radiation and converting it to electric current. In the past, ruthenium dyes endowed with thiocyanate ligands have maintained a clear lead in performance among thousands of dyes that have been published. Here, we design a novel thiocyanate-free cyclometalated ruthenium complex and report a better method for cyclometalated ruthenium complexes synthesis. We hope the utilizing of cyclometalated ligands could replace thiocyanate ligands to get good performance in DSSCs.
