In 2009 the demand of gravel is 5940 million cubic meters, estimated by the Bureau of Mine. The building industry produces approximately 3000 million cubic meters of the construction remains soil and construction waste. 70% of these remains are renewable resources and if reused properly, this could create 2000 million cubic meters of green construction materials, replacing 30% of the natural gravel consumptions which could greatly reduce the pollution to the environment.
