IT companies in Taiwan are used to attract and retain employees by granting free stock. However, this incentive is no longer a free weapon after the shared stock been listed with expense. Companies of IC design industry are working to mold a cooperative organizational climate in order to induce the knowledge sharing behavior. To further create new knowledge to enhance organizational performance via knowledge sharing is the one of the challenges IC design houses facing during the fiercely global competition. This research targeted on listed IC design companies in Taiwan to survey the degree of high-performance work practices implementation, organizational climate, and employee knowledge sharing behavior. There are 90 listed companies in Taiwan. 47 employees from human resources department of 24 companies replied, and the return rate is 26.7%. 473 of 3,220 employees from R&D department replied, and the returned rate is 14.7%. This research reveals: internal promotion system and internal communication channel have positive impact on knowledge sharing behavior. Internal communication and employee involvement have positive impact on the molding of cooperative organizational climate. Cooperative organizational climate has positive impact on knowledge sharing behavior. Cooperative organizational climate will enhance the positive impact of internal communication on knowledge sharing behavior. However, cooperative organizational climate will enhance the negative impact of training and development program on knowledge sharing behavior.
