These two indications will be influenced by important factors like holding force, internal pressure, tooling gap and blank size. For the authenticity of simulation, the material properties were first obtained through experiments, and then the concept of a virtual film was used to realistically mimic the pressure loading in the finite element model. After comparing the results of simulation and experiment for verifying the finite element model, this research also focused on the formability of clad metal sheets during hydroforming process which influenced by various process parameters.
